PROGRAMS
Sew Exquisite trains and employs women in rural West Java to create beautiful cross-stitched decorations and ornaments. Currently, Sew Exquisite employs 30 part-time stitchers and sewers.
SPORA was founded in Pangandaran in 2005 with the aim to grow the tourist industry in Indonesia by offering training in, and promotion of, basic water safety knowledge and skills.
Sauyunan began in 1999 as a way to help women provide for themselves and their families financially. Sauyunan has helped over 45 women, in three areas of West Java, provide income for their families.

ABOUT
Established in 1991, Yayasan Silih Asih (YSA) is passionate about the development of communities in West Java. YSA strives to create well-being and realize justice by empowering marginalized people in practical, wholistic ways which honor the inherent dignity of all people. We seek to accomplish this by focusing on educational programs for children, inter-faith peace initiatives, clean water and community health programs, and income generation through small business. YSA has also provided much-needed assistance in the wake of several natural disasters nation-wide.

Yayasan Silih Asih is based in Bandung, has an official branch in Pangandaran, and is active in several communities throughout West Java.
